We are in search of a Fabricator at our manufacturing location in Wickenburg, Arizona.
Apply today and become a member of a growing company! BASIC FUNCTION:
Under moderate supervision assembles or fits together parts to form complete unit or sub-assemblies.
MAJOR DUTIES:
Operating multiple metal working machines and using basic hand tools daily.
Wires and directs the wiring of all electrical controls for the specified product line.
Produces quality weldments and/or welding assemblies in one or more areas.
Weld steel components with welding equipment as specified by layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, or verbal instructions.
Work includes set-up, laying out work using jigs/fixtures or hand layouts to fabricate parts and/or rework finished products.
Inspect and correct welds as necessary to meet product specifications.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
General knowledge of assembly techniques, materials, tools, equipment, and blueprint reading is preferred.
Ability to read precision measuring tools is required.
General knowledge of welding techniques, tools and equipment.
Skills may be gained through practical experience and/or on-the-job training.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Frequent climbing, bending, twisting and/or lifting approximately 55 pounds (and periodically heavier loads approximately 75 pounds) will be required.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
All work will be done in a timely manner within established quality standards and consistent with Company policies, priorities and needs.
The individual holding this position has a broad responsibility for carrying out the objectives of the Company including supporting all company policies, meeting goals, and working as a contributing team member.
Performance will be measured on the function/duties described in the position description, accomplishments during the review period, and the methods/work skills used to achieve the goals.
